Baseball Recap: Trinity Catholic Comes Up Short

Trinity Catholic was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They lost 8-2 to the Bishop Snyder Cardinals. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Cardinals this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 13-3 back in February.

Brian Rudman made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and scored a run while getting on base in all three of his plate appearances.

Trinity Catholic's loss dropped their record down to 6-16. As for Bishop Snyder, the win (which was their eighth in a row) raised their record to 16-5.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Trinity Catholic will face off against Crystal River at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Bishop Snyder, they will square off against Middleburg at 7:00 p.m. on Monday.
