Softball Recap: Agape Christian Takes a Loss

Agape Christian was the 14-1 winner over Cobden when they last played one another back in April of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Knights fell 12-8 to the Appleknockers on Monday.

McKenlee Miller was cooking despite her team's loss, going 3-for-4 with three RBI, one triple, and one run. Jaylynn Goff was another key player, scoring two runs and stealing a base while getting on base in two of her three plate appearances.

Agape Christian's loss was their fifth straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 2-4. As for Cobden, they now have a winning record of 4-3.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Agape Christian will square off against rival Century at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, Cobden is set to challenge their familiar foe Shawnee at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
