Volleyball Recap: Howard Comes Up Short

Howard was the 2-0 winner over Kendrick when they last played one another back in August of 2023, but their luck changed this time around. The Huskies fell just short of the Cherokees by a score of 2-1 on Tuesday. The Huskies have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

In an exciting match in which no team claimed back-to-back wins, Howard sadly wound up on the wrong side. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-19, 20-25, 15-11.

Howard's defeat dropped their record down to 1-4. As for Kendrick, they now have a winning record of 3-2.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Howard will head out to take on Northeast at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Kendrick, they will challenge Therrell at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
