Basketball Game Preview: Village Christian Academy Knights vs. Fayetteville O Outliers

Village Christian Academy is on a four-game streak of home losses, Fayetteville O a three-game streak of away losses, but someone's luck will change on Monday. The Village Christian Academy Knights will host the Fayetteville O Outliers at 7:30 p.m.

Back in December of 2024, Village Christian Academy lost to Wayne Christian at home by a 50-35 margin.

Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Fayetteville O). They put the hurt on Faith HomeSchool with a sharp 75-52 victory on Friday. The win was some much needed relief for the Outliers as it spelled an end to their three-game losing streak.

Fayetteville O's win came from a few key players Village Christian Academy will need to keep an eye on. One of the most notable was Anthony Harris, who dropped a double-double on 30 points and 14 boards. That makes it three consecutive games in which he has scored at least a third of Fayetteville O's points. Samuel Williams was another key player, almost dropping a double-double on 23 points and nine boards.

Fayetteville O was working as a unit and finished the game with 11 assists. That's the most assists they've managed all season.

Fayetteville O's victory bumped their record up to 2-6. As for Village Christian Academy, their loss dropped their record down to 1-8.
