Volleyball Game Preview: Water Valley Blue Devils vs. Leflore County Tigers

The Water Valley Blue Devils will square off against the Leflore County Tigers at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday.

Water Valley managed to slip by South Panola the last time these teams faced off, but didn't have those same answers this time around. The Blue Devils lost 3-0 to the Tigers on Tuesday.

The final score came out to 25-21, 25-16, 25-20.

Meanwhile, Leflore County gave their fans exactly what they wanted out of a home opener on Monday. Everything went their way against Yazoo City as they made off with a 3-0 victory. The Tigers haven't had any issues with the Indians recently, as the game was their third consecutive win against them.

Water Valley's defeat dropped their record down to 2-2. As for Leflore County, their victory bumped their record up to 1-0.

Water Valley beat Leflore County 3-1 in their previous matchup back in October of 2024. Will the Blue Devils repeat their success, or do the Tigers have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
