Monte Vista is 9-0-1 against Livermore since January of 2016 and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Tuesday. The Monte Vista Mustangs will be playing at home against the Livermore Cowboys at 6:30 p.m.

Last Thursday, everything went Monte Vista's way against Amador Valley as Monte Vista made off with a 4-1 victory. The Mustangs might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won five matches by three goals or more this season.

Meanwhile, Livermore and De La Salle finished up on equal footing with a 1-1 draw on Thursday. The outcome might've been different if Matthew Benson hadn't been hit with a yellow card, which no doubt limited his ability to make aggressive plays down the stretch.

Livermore's goal came courtesy of Alex Ramirez, who's now up to two this season.

Monte Vista's win bumped their record up to 7-3-2. Livermore's draw makes their record 7-7-4 this season.

Monte Vista took their victory against Livermore in their previous matchup back in January of 2024 by a conclusive 4-0. Will Monte Vista repeat their success, or does Livermore have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
