Basketball Recap: Marple Newtown Takes a Loss

Marple Newtown lost against Springfield back in January, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Marple Newtown Fightin' Tigers took a 60-48 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Springfield Cougars.

Marple Newtown's loss dropped their record down to 1-1. As for Springfield, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 3-0.

Marple Newtown will be home for the holidays to greet Harriton at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Springfield, a feisty cat fight will be fought when the Springfield Cougars take on the Strath Haven Panthers at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
