Basketball Recap: Visitation Academy Comes Up Short

Visitation Academy was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their sixth straight loss. They took a 45-35 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Highland Bulldogs.

Visitation Academy's defeat dropped their record down to 1-6. As for Highland, the victory snapped their losing streak at five games and leaves them with a 6-9 record.

Visitation Academy and Highland could both be facing uphill battles in their next games considering their disadvantage in their respective state rankings. Visitation Academy (ranked 303rd) will meet Lift for Life Academy (ranked ninth) on Friday. Meanwhile, Highland (ranked 182nd) will meet Quincy Notre Dame (ranked eighth) at 3:30 p.m. on Monday.
