Volleyball Recap: Piedmont Classical Comes Up Short

Piedmont Classical was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their 12th straight loss dating back to last season. They came up short against the Leadership Academy Falcons, falling 3-0. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Falcons this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-0 on September 4th.

The match finished with set scores of 25-6, 25-11, 25-11.

Piedmont Classical's defeat dropped their record down to 0-11. As for Leadership Academy, the victory (which was their sixth in a row) raised their record to 15-4.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Piedmont Classical is set to challenge their familiar foe Bethany Community at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, Leadership Academy will square off against rival Triad Math and Science Academy at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
