Soccer Recap: Crescent Comes Up Short

If Crescent was riding high fresh off their 7-0 takedown of McCormick two weeks ago, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Tigers fell 2-0 to the Pendleton Bulldogs on Tuesday. The shutout was out of character for Crescent seeing as the last time the team failed to score was back in March.

Crescent's defeat ended a three-match streak of away wins and brought them to 8-3. As for Pendleton, the victory was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 5-2.

Crescent has already played their next matchup, a 5-1 loss against Walhalla on the 9th. As for Pendleton, they also didn't take long to hit the pitch again: they've already played their next match, a 3-2 defeat against Seneca on the 9th.
