Volleyball Recap: Madison West Comes Up Short

Madison West was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their 23rd straight loss dating back to last season. They were a single set away from ending the streak, but they lost a 2-1 heartbreaker at the hands of the Wisconsin Dells Chiefs. If the Regents were looking for revenge after losing 2-0 to the Chiefs when the teams met back in September of 2018, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Madison West's defeat dropped their record down to 0-22. As for Wisconsin Dells, with the victory, they broke their three-match losing streak and moved their record to 14-10.

Coming up, Madison West is taking a road trip to face off against Middleton at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Wisconsin Dells, they will be playing at home against Mauston at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
