Basketball Recap: Decatur Golden Gators vs. Tyee Titans
The Decatur Golden Gators scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Friday. They blew past Tyee 92-35 at home. That 57 point margin sets a new team best for Decatur this season.
Decatur's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Joshua Carter led the charge by scoring 34 points along with seven rebounds and seven steals. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Carter has scored all season. Jaliel Anderson was another key contributor, almost dropping a double-double on 22 points and nine rebounds.
The win makes it two in a row for Decatur and bumps their season record up to 5-15. As for Tyee, they are on a 13-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-14.
Decatur does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Tyee also has no future games currently scheduled.
