It was a good run, but Elizabeth unfortunately witnessed the end of their 13-game winning streak dating back to last season on Tuesday. They took a 72-60 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Roselle Catholic Lions. The loss put an end to the Minutemen's undefeated start to the season.

Having lost for the first time this season, Elizabeth fell to 7-1. As for Roselle Catholic, they pushed their record up to 4-1 with the victory, which was their sixth straight at home dating back to last season.

Elizabeth will challenge Union at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Roselle Catholic, they will look to defend their home court on Saturday against Seton Hall Prep at 12:00 p.m.
