Volleyball Recap: Pierce Has No Trouble Against Paradise

Pierce won the last time they faced Paradise and things went their way on Tuesday too. The Bears put the hurt on the Bobcats with a sharp 3-0 win. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Bears.

Not only was the match a shutout, it was a big one: Pierce took every set by at least 11 points. The final score came out to 25-7, 25-14, 25-14.

Leah Charter paced Pierce's offense, picking up nine kills. Charter got some help from Magali Jauregui and her 27 assists. Rylie Delepierre controlled things from the service line, finishing with seven aces.

Pierce's victory bumped their record up to 17-7. As for Paradise, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost five of their last six contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 8-13 record this season.

Pierce didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 3-2 win against East Nicolaus on the 25th. As for Paradise, they have also already played their next match, a 3-1 loss against Willows on the 25th.
