Volleyball Recap: Sebeka's Luck Takes a Turn for the Worse on Saturday

After a string of four wins, Sebeka's good fortune finally ran out on Saturday. They fell 2-0 to the Hillcrest Lutheran Academy Comets. The Trojans were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Comets apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in October of 2018.

Despite the loss, Sebeka still got an impressive performance from Emma Ness, who had 15 digs. Ness is crushing it when it comes to digs: she's had at least 11 every time she's taken the court this season.

Sebeka's defeat dropped their record down to 12-5. As for Hillcrest Lutheran Academy, they are on a roll lately: they've won six of their last seven contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 11-2 record this season.

Sebeka wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next match, a 2-1 loss against Roseau on the 4th. As for Hillcrest Lutheran Academy, they have also already played their next matchup, a 2-1 victory against Perham on the 4th.
