Baseball Recap: Bedford Gets the Win

On Thursday Bedford's undefeated season almost came to an end. They had just enough and edged out the Plymouth Wildcats 8-6. For the Kicking Mules, this counts as revenge for the 7-5 win the Wildcats walked away with the last time they faced one another back in May of 2025.

Bedford let Cashton Sedlar and Jason Bryant run wild. Sedlar went 4-for-5 with three runs, one triple, and two RBI, while Bryant went a perfect 4-for-4 with three runs, one triple, and one RBI. That triple marked the first that Bryant has hit this season. Brody Leonhard was another key player, going 3-for-4 with two RBI and one double.

They weren't the only ones making solid contact: Bedford kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 14 hits. That's the most hits they've posted since back in April of 2025.

Bedford's record is now 5-0. As for Plymouth, their defeat was their first of the season and makes their record 3-1.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: the Wildcats beat Bedford by a score of 2-1 later that day.
