Basketball Recap: BELIEVE Circle City Comes Up Short

BELIEVE Circle City has relied on a stalwart defense averaging 27.22 points allowed per game, but that average took a hit on Tuesday. They were beaten by the Tindley Tigers 65-30. The Cyclones have been going strong on the season, but this is now their second loss in a row.

Tindley's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Alonah Savage, who almost dropped a double-double on 19 points and nine rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Rihanna Peay, who posted 17 points along with five boards and three steals.

BELIEVE Circle City's defeat dropped their record down to 6-3. As for Tindley, their win bumped their record up to 12-9.

BELIEVE Circle City is taking a road trip to take on Purdue Broad Ripple at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Tindley, they will host Traders Point Christian at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday.
