Basketball Recap: Make It Three in a Row for Howard

Howard entered their tilt with Florence/Henry on Saturday with two consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with three. They came out on top against the Florence/Henry Falcons by a score of 54-44. For the Tigers, this counts as revenge for the 49-42 victory the Falcons walked away with the last time they faced one another back in January of 2015.

Howard is also on a roll lately: they've won six of their last seven contests, which provided a nice bump to their 9-3 record this season. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 53.1 points per game. As for Florence/Henry, with the defeat, they broke their four-game winning streak and moved their record to 8-4.

Howard and Florence/Henry should be looking forward to their upcoming games as both have a sizable advantage in the MaxPreps South Dakota Rankings. Howard (ranked 27th) will meet Ethan (ranked 87th) at 8:00 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, Florence/Henry will take on Arlington at 7:15 p.m. on Tuesday up 89 places (44 vs. 133).
