Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Tomball). They breezed past the Magnolia West Mustangs to the tune of 48-7 on Friday. Given the Cougars' advantage in MaxPreps' Texas football rankings (they are ranked 54th, while the Mustangs are ranked 339th) , the win wasn't entirely unexpected.
Tomball's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Jaxyn Faldyn, who threw for 221 yards and four TDs on only 18 passes.
