Soccer Game Preview: College Park vs. Georgetown

The College Park Cavaliers will take on the Georgetown Eagles in a tournament on Saturday. College Park's offense has struggled lately (the team hasn't scored more than a single goal for three straight games), a trend the team is no doubt ready to end.

Friday just wasn't the day for College Park's offense. They opened the new year with a less-than-successful 2-0 defeat to New Braunfels.

Meanwhile, Georgetown kept a clean sheet against Bellaire on Friday. They walked away with a 2-0 victory over the Cardinals. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Eagles.

College Park's loss dropped their record down to 1-3. As for Georgetown, their win bumped their record up to 2-0.

College Park beat Georgetown by a goal in their previous meeting back in January of 2019, winning 2-1. Will College Park repeat their success, or does Georgetown have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
