Basketball Game Preview: Robbinsville Black Knights vs. Hayesville Yellowjackets

The Robbinsville Black Knights are taking a road trip to face off against the Hayesville Yellowjackets at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday.

It's never fun to lose, and it's even less fun to lose 77-40, which was the final score in Robbinsville's tilt against Cherokee on Tuesday. The Black Knights have struggled against the Braves recently, as the game was their seventh consecutive lost matchup.

Meanwhile, Hayesville had already won three in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 13.7 points) and they went ahead and made it four on Tuesday. They strolled past the Bulldogs with points to spare, taking the game 49-35.

Hayesville's win bumped their record up to 13-10. As for Robbinsville, their defeat dropped their record down to 11-10.

Everything came up roses for Robbinsville against Hayesville in their previous matchup last Tuesday, as the team secured a 57-29 victory. The rematch might be a little tougher for Robbinsville since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
