Volleyball Recap: Delano Find Success

It was a proper cat-fight when Delano duked it out with Annandale on Monday. The Tigers walked away with a 3-1 win over the Cardinals. The Tigers haven't had any issues with the Cardinals recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive victory against them.

Delano had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first set, they turned around to win the next three. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 23-25, 25-15, 25-22, 25-10.

Delano found their leader in sophomore Braylee Rue, who had ten digs and two aces.

Delano was lethal from the service line and finished the match with 13 aces. That's the most aces they've posted since back in September of 2024.

Delano's win bumped their record up to 26-2. As for Annandale, their loss dropped their record down to 18-6.

Delano has already played their next matchup, a 3-0 victory against Jefferson on the 14th. As for Annandale, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 3-2 win against Howard Lake-Waverly-Winsted on the 14th.
