Soccer Game Preview: Camden County vs. Bear Grass Charter

The Camden County Bruins are taking a road trip to square off against the Bear Grass Charter Bears at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Camden County will be strutting in after a victory while Bear Grass Charter will be coming in after a defeat.

Camden County's defense heads into the contest hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed last Thursday. They were the clear victors by a 4-0 margin over Southside. Camden County might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won six games by four goals or more this season.

They hit Southside with a four-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Madilyn Strickland, Kaelyn Windham, Rylee Rios, and Claire Warren.

Meanwhile, Bear Grass Charter fell victim to Farmville Central and their airtight defense on Wednesday. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Jaguars. The loss continues a trend for Bear Grass Charter in their meetings with Farmville Central: they've now lost three in a row.

The win made it two in a row for Camden County and bumps their season record up to 12-4-1. The victories came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only given up zero goals over those two matches. As for Bear Grass Charter, their defeat dropped their record down to 3-6-1.
