Soccer Recap: University School Takes a Loss

While it was all tied up 0-0 at halftime, University School was not quite Chuckey-Doak's equal in the second half on Tuesday. They took a 3-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Black Knights. University School were not able to make up for their loss to Chuckey-Doak from their previous meeting back in April of 2024.

University School's goal came courtesy of Tyler DeGennaro, who's now up to two this season.

This is the second loss in a row for University School and nudges their season record down to 7-5-1. As for Chuckey-Doak, their win ended a four-game drought at home and bumped them up to 6-4-2.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. University School will welcome David Crockett at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Chuckey-Doak, they will look to defend their home pitch on Thursday against Daniel Boone at 6:00 p.m. Chuckey-Doak will be up against Daniel Boone's rather soft defense (which has allowed 3.64 goals per matchup), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance.
