Don Bosco Prep lost to Central 50-21 last week, the largest margin of any game.

DePaul made the biggest leap in the national rankings this week, rising to 133 from 219. The improvement came about via a 35-21 victory over the Spartans last week.

Steve Shanley put up the best numbers through the air as Paramus Catholic bested DePaul. He finished with 14 completions for 155 yards and 2 touchdowns. Shanley's favorite target this week was Jabrill Peppers, who caught 4 passes for 49 yards.

Colin McGovern provided a threat through the air and on the ground as Bergen Catholic fell to Bishop Gorman. He completed 16 passes for 149 yards and also ran for 24 yards. McGovern's favorite target this week was Corey Gaarn, who caught 4 passes for 62 yards.

Corey Russo was the best running back in Big North - United this week. In 18 carries, he ran for 50 yards as the Crusaders lost to the Gaels.

Gaarn was the best receiver in the league this week as Bergen Catholic lost to Bishop Gorman. Garrett Dickerson helped Bergen Catholic's passing attack out by catching 5 balls for 54 yards.

Thanks to the talents of McGovern and Russo, Nunzio Campanile's team has been able to do all sorts of things on offense. McGovern is tops in the league in passing with 588 yards, while Russo has rushed for 327 yards this season. Tops in the league in receiving yards is the Paladins' Najee Clayton, with 241 yards on 15 catches.

The most important game in the league this week will be the match up between the Crusaders and St. Joseph Regional. Bergen Catholic enters the game ranked fifth in the state, while the Green Knights ranks first.

Next week's game between the Crusaders and St. Joseph Regional will feature a good passing match up as McGovern will test his arm against Joseph Giles-Harris's defensive ability.

Paramus Catholic led Big North - United in scoring this week by notching 35 points on John Mckenna's team. Shanley in the win.
