Volleyball Recap: Riverside Falls Despite Big Games from Kaitlyn Haroski and Corinne Christopher + How To Watch

If Riverside was riding high fresh off their 3-0 takedown of Eastside on Tuesday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Warriors fell 3-1 to the Gaffney Indians on Thursday. The Warriors were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Indians earlier this season, when they won 3-2.

The final score came out to 25-18, 22-25, 25-12, 25-20.

Despite the loss, Riverside had strong showings from Corinne Christopher, who had 14 assists and eight digs, and Kaitlyn Haroski, who had 16 assists and 11 digs. Haroski has been hot, having posted 12 or more assists the last eight times she's played.

Gaffney found their leader in sophomore Mayson Brizendine, who had 27 digs and three assists.

Riverside's defeat dropped their record down to 17-8. As for Gaffney, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 13-10-2.
