Football Recap: Kalama Piles Up the Points Against Fort Vancouver + How To Watch

Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Kalama). They blew past the Fort Vancouver Trappers, posting a 53-7 victory. The Chinooks have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Trappers on Friday, too.

Kalama can attribute much of their success to Ben Brightbill, who rushed for seven yards and one TD, and also caught one touchdown.

Kalama didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off two passes before the game was over. The picks came courtesy of Brightbill and Cass Kenley.

The win made it two in a row for Kalama and bumps their season record up to 2-2. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 52.0 points over those games. As for Fort Vancouver, their loss dropped their record down to 0-4.
