Volleyball Recap: Carlisle Comes Up Short

Carlisle was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They lost 3-0 to the Revolution Academy Rhinos.

While Carlisle was kept off the board, it wasn't for a lack of trying: they cut into Revolution Academy's winning margin in every set. The match finished with set scores of 25-13, 25-15, 25-18.

Maxie Garrett paced Carlisle's offense, picking up four kills. Garrett got some help from Janie Lacy and her four assists. Garrett also made an impact serving: she shared the team lead in aces with DeAmber Harris, racking up two apiece.

Carlisle's loss dropped their record down to 1-3. As for Revolution Academy, their win bumped their record up to 3-0.

Carlisle and Revolution Academy will both get a bit of extra prep time before their next matches. The next time the Chiefs see the court they'll take on New Covenant at 6:45 p.m. on the 19th. As for Revolution Academy, their break will end when they face John Yowell Academy at 4:15 p.m. on October 7.
