Soccer Recap: Hamilton Finds Home Pitch Redemption Against Gilbert

There's no place like home for Hamilton, who bounced back after a loss on the road two weeks ago. They never let the Gilbert Tigers onto the board and left with a 2-0 win on Friday. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Huskies also won the last time the pair played back in December of 2023.

Walker Meade was the driving force of Hamilton's attack as he scored both of Hamilton's goals, bringing his season total up to three goals.

Hamilton has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won six of their last seven matches, which provided a nice bump to their 9-4 record this season. As for Gilbert, their defeat dropped their record down to 5-5-2.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Hamilton will challenge Chaparral at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Gilbert, a feisty cat fight will be fought when the Gilbert duke it out with the Desert Ridge at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
