Mt. Pleasant extended their winning streak to five on Saturday, bumping their season record up to 5-3 in the process. They put the hurt on the Vestaburg Wolverines with a sharp 11-1 win. The Oilers might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won four games by eight runs or more this season.

Having lost for the first time this season, Vestaburg fell to 9-1. The matchup marked their lowest-scoring contest so far this season.

For Vestaburg's part, Addison Neelis made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and fired off three triples and one run while going 3-for-3.

Mt. Pleasant didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next game, a 12-0 victory against Powers Catholic on the 21st. As for Vestaburg, they have also already played their next contest, a 9-1 win against Carson City-Crystal on the 22nd.
