Game recap

MILTON, Ga. - After four lead changes, Cambridge (Milton, Ga.) took the lead for good when JD White ran for a touchdown with 10:00 to go in the fourth quarter and held on to upset Pope (Marietta, Ga.) 41-32 on Saturday.

After taking the lead on a passing touchdown, the Greyhounds went into halftime with a 26-22 lead. The Bears scored the winning points with a White touchdown run that came in the fourth quarter.

Despite scoring seven points in the third, Cambridge still trailed by three points going into the fourth quarter. But 12 points in the fourth helped CHS pull out the victory.

The win was a nice bounce back for the Milton school, which lost to Osborne last week, 5-0. The defeat comes as a step back for Pope, which notched a 28-24 victory over Northview in its previous outing. The victory snapped Cambridge's three-game losing streak.
