Softball Recap: Horseshoe Bend Takes a Loss

Horseshoe Bend was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They fell 7-4 to the Moody Blue Devils.

Horseshoe Bend's defeat dropped their record down to 20-6-1. As for Moody, they are on a roll lately: they've won 16 of their last 17 games. That's provided a nice bump to their 30-8 record this season.

Horseshoe Bend will venture away from home to square off against Central of Clay County at 4:30 p.m. on Monday. As for Moody, they wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next matchup, a 6-5 victory against Beauregard on the 18th.
