Duxbury had won 14 straight games and Valentina Torres did her part to make it 15 on Wednesday. The Dragons put the hurt on the Marshfield Rams with a sharp 3-0 win with plenty of help from Torres, who had 19 assists and six digs. Torres is crushing it when it comes to assists: she's posted at least 12 every time she's taken the court this season.

Duxbury not only won, but also showed off some consistency: they kept Marshfield between 19 and 20 points across their sets. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-19, 25-19, 25-20.

Duxbury's record now sits at 15-0. As for Marshfield, their defeat dropped their record down to 9-7.

Duxbury has already played their next match, a 3-0 victory against Bourne on the 16th. As for Marshfield, they will face off against Whitman-Hanson Regional at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday.
