Volleyball Recap: Beechcroft Takes a Loss

Beechcroft was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They were a single set away from ending the streak, but they lost a 3-2 heartbreaker at the hands of the Northland Vikings. If the Cougars were looking for revenge after losing 3-1 to the Vikings when the teams met back in September of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Beechcroft actually scored more points across those five sets (100-97), but sadly they still had to settle for second. The final score came out to 22-25, 25-18, 25-21, 10-25, 15-11.

Beechcroft's loss dropped their record down to 3-3. As for Northland, the win (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 5-2.

Coming up, Beechcroft will host Linden-McKinley at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Northland has already played their next match (against Marion-Franklin), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
