Football Game Preview: Harleton Wildcats vs. Big Sandy Wildcats

Harleton will take on Big Sandy at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Having both just faced considerable losses, both teams are looking to turn things around.

It was a proper cat-fight when Harleton duked it out with Beckville last Thursday. The Wildcats came up short against the Bearcats, falling 30-6. The Wildcats haven't had much luck with the Bearcats recently, as the team has come up short the last five times they've met.

Meanwhile, Thursday just wasn't the day for Big Sandy's offense. They were outmatched by Ore City and fell 31-0.

Harleton's defeat dropped their record down to 1-3. As for Big Sandy, their loss dropped their record down to 0-4.

Harleton ended up a good deal behind Big Sandy in their previous meeting back in September of 2024, losing 34-20. Thankfully for Harleton, Lurbryson Ross (who rushed for 142 yards and a pair of touchdowns) won't be suiting up this time. Will that be enough to change the final result?
