Basketball Recap: Tipton's Win on Tuesday Extends Winning Streak to Three

Tipton entered their tilt with West Branch on Tuesday with two consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with three. They enjoyed a cozy 52-37 victory over the West Branch Bears. Given the Tigers' advantage in MaxPreps' Iowa basketball rankings (they are ranked 131st, while the Bears are ranked 282nd), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Tipton pushed their record up to 8-3 with the win, which was their fourth straight on the road. As for West Branch, they are on an eight-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-8.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Tipton will challenge North Cedar at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. As for West Branch, they will square off against Notre Dame at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
