Basketball Recap: Atkinson County Gets the Win

Atkinson County's game last Friday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Saturday. They had just enough and edged the Irwin County Indians out 57-55. The victory was some much needed relief for the Rebels as it spelled an end to their three-game losing streak.

Atkinson County's win bumped their record up to 4-8. As for Irwin County, their defeat dropped their record down to 7-7.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Atkinson County will take on Charlton County at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Irwin County, they will head out on the road to take on Turner County at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
