Volleyball Recap: Griffith Comes Up Short

Griffith suffered their biggest defeat since October 9, 2024 on Thursday. They came up short against the Hammond Bishop Noll Warriors, falling 3-0. The Panthers were not able to make up for their loss to the Warriors from their previous meeting back in August of 2024.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-19, 25-16, 25-12.

Saniya Harper paced Griffith's offense, picking up six kills. Harper got some help from Kaelin Bergdahl and her ten assists. Milah Castro controlled things from the service line, finishing with four aces.

Griffith's defeat dropped their record down to 2-4. As for Hammond Bishop Noll, the win got them back to even at 1-1.

Coming up, Griffith is headed away from home for the first time to square off against Bowman Academy at 6:30 p.m. on Monday. As for Hammond Bishop Noll, they will square off against Munster at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday. The Warriors are facing the Mustangs at the right time seeing as the Mustangs are stuck on a five-game losing streak.
