Baseball Recap: Reeves Victorious

Reeves had to endure a three-game losing streak, but that streak is no more. They had just enough and edged out the Pleasant Hill Eagles 17-16. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest victory the Raiders have posted since April 11, 2025.

Chase Ducharme and Braxton Phillips did most of the damage at the plate: Ducharme got on base in all five of his plate appearances with four runs, two stolen bases, and four RBI, while Phillips got on base in five of his six plate appearances with three stolen bases, four RBI, and one run. Those four RBI gave Phillips a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Kohlston Burns, who got on base in three of his four plate appearances with three runs and two RBI.

Reeves' win bumped their record up to 6-9. As for Pleasant Hill, they are on a seven-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 7-19.

Reeves will have a chance to go back-to-back against the Eagles: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
