Soccer Recap: Valdosta Comes Up Short

Valdosta was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their 11th straight defeat. They lost 10-0 to the Ware County Gators. If Valdosta were looking for revenge after losing 6-0 to Ware County when the teams met back in February of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Valdosta's loss dropped their record down to 0-11. As for Ware County, their win bumped their record up to 7-8.

Looking ahead, Valdosta will be playing in front of their home fans against Tift County at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Valdosta will be up against Tift County's rather soft defense (which has allowed 4.18 goals per matchup), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance. As for Ware County, they will head out to challenge Appling County at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
