Desert Christian has gone a perfect 10-0 against St. Augustine Catholic recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Tuesday. The Eagles will be playing in front of their home fans against the Wolves at 4:00 p.m. The two teams are sauntering into the matchup backed by comfortable wins in their prior games.
On Monday, Desert Christian made easy work of Valley Union and carried off an 18-8 victory. The win continues a trend for the Eagles in their matchups with the Blue Devils: they've now won five in a row.

The team relied heavily on Abby Martin, who went 3-for-4 with three runs, three RBI, and two doubles. Those three runs gave her a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Amara Murillo, who went a perfect 2-for-2 with two runs and two RBI.
Desert Christian was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .591. They are 4-2 when they post a batting average of .375 or better.
Meanwhile, St. Augustine Catholic got the win against Catalina on Friday by a conclusive 17-5. Considering the Wolves have won seven matchups by more than 11 runs this season, Friday's blowout was nothing new.
Lehla Joe made a big impact no matter where she played. She looked comfortable on the mound, striking out six batters over five innings while giving up just one earned (and four unearned) runs off one hit. She has been nothing but reliable: she hasn't tossed less than six strikeouts in eight consecutive appearances. She was also stellar in the batter's box, going a perfect 3-for-3 with two stolen bases, three runs, and one triple.
In other batting news, Addie Fette was incredible, going 2-for-3 with one home run, three runs, and one stolen base. Another player making a difference was Maria Martinez, who got on base in three of her four plate appearances with two stolen bases, three runs, and one RBI.
Desert Christian's victory bumped their record up to 4-10. As for St. Augustine Catholic, they now have a winning record of 8-7.
Tuesday's game might come down to which pitcher can control the ball better. Desert Christian has hit smart this season, having averaged an OBP of .578. However, it's not like St. Augustine Catholic struggles in that department as they've averaged .591. With both teams so capable at the plate, fans should be ready for an impressive hitting performance.
Everything went Desert Christian's way against St. Augustine Catholic in their previous matchup back in April of 2025, as Desert Christian made off with a 16-4 win. Will the Eagles repeat their success, or do the Wolves have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
