Basketball Recap: Eureka's Win Ends Six-Game Losing Streak on the Road

Eureka won the last time they faced Del Norte, and Elijah Estrada did his part to make sure it happened again. The Eureka Loggers managed a 61-55 win over the Del Norte Warriors on Wednesday thanks in part to Estrada, who posted 20 points and five boards. That's the most points he has posted since back in December of 2023.

Eureka's victory ended a six-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 12-4. As for Del Norte, they have been struggling recently as they've lost five of their last six contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 12-7 record this season.

Eureka has already played their next game, a 60-57 win against Fortuna on the 17th. Del Norte has also already played their next matchup (against St. Bernard's), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
