Volleyball Recap: Sylmar Snags Fourth Victory in Last Five Games

Sylmar saw some tournament action on Saturday. They came out on top against the Golden Valley Grizzlies by a score of 2-0.

Sylmar easily took the first set, but they let things get interesting in the other. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-10, 25-21.

Sylmar has been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 17-11 record this season. As for Golden Valley, they are on an eight-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-23-2.

Sylmar has already played their next contest, a 2-1 loss against University on the 11th. As for Golden Valley, they will take on Valencia at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
