Football Recap: Palmetto Comes Up Short

Thursday just wasn't the day for Palmetto's offense. They lost to the Southeast Seminoles on the road by a 19-0 margin on Thursday. The Tigers were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Seminoles apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in March of 2024.

Palmetto's loss dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Southeast, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to a perfect 2-0.

Coming up, Palmetto will look to defend their home field on Tuesday against Lakewood Ranch at 7:30 p.m. As for Southeast, they will head out to challenge Parrish Community at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
