Volleyball Recap: Macon County Takes a Loss + How To Watch

Macon County was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their 17th straight defeat. They fell 3-1 to the Trousdale County Yellowjackets. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Yellowjackets this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-2 back in August.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-10, 23-25, 25-20, 25-12.

Lucye Clair Polston paced Macon County's offense, picking up 13 kills. Polston got some help from Lexi Patterson and her 18 assists. Ryleigh Coley and Mali Clark kept things locked in from the service line: the pair finished with three aces apiece.

Macon County's loss dropped their record down to 2-21. As for Trousdale County, their win ended a six-match drought at home and bumped them up to 3-9.

As of now, neither Macon County nor the Yellowjackets have any future games scheduled.
