Softball Recap: St. John Paul II Comes Up Short

St. John Paul II lost against Rising Tide back in May of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Wednesday. The Lions took a 9-6 hit to the loss column at the hands of Rising Tide.

St. John Paul II's loss dropped their record down to 3-2. As for Rising Tide, they have been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five games. That's provided a nice bump to their 4-3 record this season.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. St. John Paul II will venture away from home to take on Wareham at 3:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Rising Tide, they will have some time to savor their victory since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Nantucket at 4:00 p.m. on the 30th.
