Basketball Recap: Paoli Rams vs. Linton-Stockton Miners
The Paoli Rams and the Linton-Stockton Miners squared off in some playoff action on Friday, but sadly the Paoli Rams had to settle for second. They took a 46-40 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Miners.
Despite the defeat, Paoli had strong showings from Jehrico Hopper, who dropped a double-double on ten points and 18 rebounds, and Carley Higgins, who scored 19 points along with five rebounds. Hopper has been hot recently, having posted eight or more rebounds the last four times she's played.
Paoli's defeat dropped their record down to 11-13. As for Linton-Stockton, the victory was the fifth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 19-6.
Paoli does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Linton-Stockton won't have much time to rest: their next matchup is against the Warriors at 7:00 p.m. on February 3rd. North Knox will be looking to extend their current 16-game winning streak.
