Hinsdale Central entered their tilt with Willowbrook on Monday with two consecutive wins, and they'll enter their next game with three. They didn't even let the Warriors on the board, marking their second-straight 2-0 shutout. This was a revenge game for the Red Devils: when they faced off against the Warriors last Saturday, they had to take a 2-1 defeat.

Hinsdale Central never let Willowbrook on the board, but things got pretty close in the first set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-22, 25-18.

Bjorn Vinje paced Hinsdale Central's offense, picking up six kills. Vinje got some help from Harry Hughes and his 20 assists. Vinje was also solid from the service line: he led the team with two aces.

Hinsdale Central's record is now 10-22. As for Willowbrook, their loss dropped their record down to 8-26.

Coming up, Hinsdale Central will look to defend their home court on Tuesday against Lyons at 5:30 p.m. The Lions will roll in looking for their fifth straight victory, something the Red Devils surely won't give up without a fight. As for Willowbrook, they will face off against Timothy Christian at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
