Softball Recap: Jefferson Christian Academy Comes Up Short

Jefferson Christian Academy was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their 13th straight loss dating back to last season. They came up short against Appalachian, falling 17-0. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against Appalachian this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 16-0 back in March.

Jefferson Christian Academy's defeat dropped their record down to 0-7. As for Appalachian, the victory (which was their fifth in a row) raised their record to 17-8-4.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: Appalachian beat Jefferson Christian Academy by a score of 16-0 later that day.
