Baseball Recap: Berkeley Springs Takes a Loss

Berkeley Springs fell victim to Bridgeport and their airtight pitching crew on Monday. They came up short against Bridgeport, falling 13-0. Having soared to a lofty 13 runs in the game before, Berkeley Springs' shutout was a dramatic turnaround.

Berkeley Springs' loss dropped their record down to 4-27. As for Bridgeport, they have been performing well recently as they've won 13 of their last 17 games. That's provided a nice bump to their 19-8 record this season.

Berkeley Springs will venture away from home to square off against Hampshire at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Indians are facing the Trojans at the right time seeing as the Trojans are stuck on a three-game losing streak. Bridgeport does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
